Insurance – your luck won’t run out if you choose the right coverage
If you do not yet have home and property insurance, you may want to look into it. Moving is the perfect time to purchase a new home insurance policy.

If you already have a plan and want to keep it, contact your insurance company to check whether your new home can be insured at the same rate. Various factors can affect your insurance premium, e.g. the year the home was built, the location and any nearby shopping facilities.

For more information, check out the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) website , which represents the majority of home and business property insurers in Canada. You can go online to find websites for leading insurance providers in Canada by area of specialty.
